To get started with your video, FlexClip gives you options to start from scratch or use one of their video templates. Select templates from many different industry niches (such as Business, Education, Restaurants or Fashion) or select from types of videos (such as How-to, Marketing, Lifestyle or Slideshows). You can even select by social media site use for different templates by Facebook, Instagram or YouTube.

Robust Video Editing Features

Once you select a template, there are many options to customize the templates and dynamic features used.

Videos are created using “storyboards” where each segment of a video can have specific elements customized by changing colors, swapping out text features, adding or deleting photos and video clips. You can import your own video or photo clips, or you can choose from a vast library of free stock photos and video clips (unlimited with Plus plan, limited for free plan).

If you choose to create a video from scratch (rather than using a template) you can start by selecting the video ratio:

  • 16:9 (wide video – good for YouTube)
  • 1:1 (square video – good for social media)
  • 9:16 (vertical video – good for Instagram stories)

Also important to note – if you choose a template you can change the video ratio and everything in the template automatically adjusts!
